Teaching Philosophy

Teaching is a dynamic competence that should be consistently enhanced. I therefore, regularly improve my knowledge of teaching in higher education to better understand the scientific theories and studies, including various learning theories (e.g., cognitive, constructive), and effective rhetoric behind the teaching and learning phenomena. My teaching philosophy is built upon the creation of a classroom where every student, regardless of their diverse needs and abilities, can attain the primary intended learning outcomes of the course and apply them to their subsequent studies and professional life. I aim at inspiring my students to develop their own learning interests and critical thinking skills, thereby establishing a learner-centered environment in the classroom.
